You are invited to join me for Deepening the Senses ‘The Cailleach’s Descent’ – A Morning’s online Zoom Gathering on Saturday 13th November 2021. Samhain marks the beginning of the darkest part of the year, the beginning of Winter. In the Celtic tradition, at Samhain, the Cailleach, the wise crone of winter, leaves the mountains and begins her walk across the lands bringing the winter storms, snow, and darkness with her. It is the time of the year when she makes her descent into the underworld to incubate the seeds of new life. Darkness is associated with new beginnings. The potential of the seed below the ground. There is a liminal, threshold times in the changing seasons of our lives.

This morning’s gathering is a space where we can create the time for reflection, to connect and reconnect in an embodied way to our inner ground, and hear with the inner ear, what meaning can we glean from these challenging times on our own journey, what seeds will we sow in the darkness this Samhain and what will we bring forth into the Spring and the new life.

On our morning’s Gathering, we will draw on the wisdom of mythology, utilizing mindfulness meditation, the medium of poetry, music, and imagery to assist us. This is a Zoom Psychotherapy-based Workshop – starting at 9.30 am and finishing at 1:45 pm / 2 pm. The package includes 4.5 hours of online group facilitation with a strict limit on the number of participants to ensure the opportunity for participants to interact in the online space. A certificate for 4 .5 points CPD is provided. Early booking is advisable as places are allocated on a ‘first come first serve’ basis.
